Three or four friends wishing to walk in the hills aren't welcome here!The only acceptable parties are couples and families. Wives and children aren't interested in the pysical exertions required hoofing it all over these peaks. It's a bit like having a hotel next to a golf club and banning golfers!
If you have no alternative site and you are an even numbered party of men, you will have to say you are all gay if you want to stay here!

Very basic site. Electric hook-up refused for trailer tents. Staff not helpfull at all, quite arrogant in fact! After staying at various sites around the lakes i found this to be the poorest of them all. If you plan a trip to Keswick, put this site to the bottom of the list.
