The worst camp site I have ever stayed on. It was a busy weekend of good weather. The owners didn't know when to stop letting people in and people were literally camping on top of each other as they could not find any space. Noisy until well into the small hours of the morning wiht people coming and going and playing loud music. lovely situation but extremely poorly managed. Great if you want a place for a hen or stag party!

Coniston hall campsite is a great site for groups and for those who want somewhere close enough to walk to the pub! its located a 15 min walk from coniston village and down near the lake! The showers are a bit dodgy though - i make sure i ask the person before which one they used, so i know which one to put my 50p in!
