Located in a field close to the pub. Pitch was flat and free of stones, a bit squadgy on account of all the rain, and the site is quite exposed and windy - we had to pitch our tent close to a rather uninviting barbed wire fence. No showers or toilets, but it is possible to use those round the back of the Wasdale Head Inn, and water can be found outside the Barn Door Shop. Good value for money, 2 night's camping for 2 of us cost £10. Sadly not all of the hillwalkers who used this site while we were there were honest - first time we've ever had anything stolen, in this case our titanium tent staves, which put a real dampner on our weekend.
